How and when do I pay for my cookies?
All Cookie Club orders must be paid in full by the order deadline, so that your cookies can be ready on time! You can pay via the Just Add Cookies website, using all major forms of payment. If the available payment methods do not work for you, please email [email protected] or text 330-541-5960 for Venmo information or to discuss other options. If your payment is not received by the order deadline, then I will assume your plans have changed and will cancel your order.
How and where do I get my cookies on the pick-up dates?
There are currently three pick up options. When you order, you will select one of the three pick up locations, or you can request information about delivery or shipping.
Pick Up Option 1 - Porch pick-up between 9am-7pm in Kent at the corner of Crain Ave and Miller Ave
Pick Up Option 2 - Pick-up between 10am-4pm at the KSU Student Center (Kent Campus)
Pick Up Option 3 - Pick-up between 10am-4pm at the Williamson House on KSU Kent Campus
Pick Up Option 4 - Pick-up between 10am-4pm at Moulton Hall on KSU Kent Campus
Delivery - Delivery may be available within a 15 mile radius of Kent for an additional fee
Shipping - Shipping may be available in Ohio for an additional charge; please note that cookies often break during shipping, regardless of packaging--but the cookies will still be delicious!
Can I send Cookie Club cookies or all-season subscriptions as a gift?
Absolutely! If you are ordering AS A GIFT, please use the "Note to seller" box in the very last step of the check out process to add the name, phone number and email address for the gift recipient in this box. If this is a surprise gift, please note that as well, so I know to notify the gift recipient for pick-up (and I don't ruin the surprise)!

What if I change my mind after I order?
If you cancel before the posted "Order by" deadline, the full amount can be refunded. Please reach out to me to cancel---[email protected] or text 330-541-5960. After the "Order by" deadline, all orders are final. Hand-decorated cookies take time to make! The "Order by" deadline for the Cookie Club gives me just enough time to make your cookies beautiful and delicious.
What if something comes up or I forget to pick up my cookies?
Please reach out to let me know, so that I don't worry about you! If you can't pick up your cookies as scheduled, please notify [email protected] or text 330-541-5960 by 11:59pm the day before your pick-up date. If you still want your cookies, we may be able to arrange porch pick-up the next day, or I can freeze the cookies for you and save them for the next scheduled Cookie Club pick-up date. If you don't want your cookies any more, you can "donate" your cookies. If you do not pick up your cookies and I have not received a notification from you, I will donate your cookies, so they can still be enjoyed while they are fresh!
I missed the ordering deadline! Can I still order cookies?
Maybe! Please reach out by email or text 330-541-5960 and if I've baked extras or haven't finished baking yet, I would be happy to accommodate you!
Do the cookies have any allergens?
Yes, at this time all of my standard cookie recipes contain wheat, dairy, and eggs. The full ingredients lists are posted online for review before ordering, and cookies will be labeled as per Ohio Cottage Food laws. Keep in mind that these products are made in a home kitchen that is not nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free. If you are interested in cookies made with alternative ingredients, please reach out and we can discuss!
How long will the cookies stay fresh?
Cookies sealed in their original packages will stay fresh for at least two weeks. To maximize freshness, keep your cookies in moderate, dry conditions—avoid direct sunlight, hot cars, hungry pets/children, and the fridge (the fridge will dry out your cookies). Cookies can also be frozen for at least three months, and will still be delicious and beautiful when thawed! Cookie Care and freezing instructions will be included with each order.
Will my cookies be exactly like the ones pictured on the website?
Nope! These are hand-decorated cookies, so there will always be at least small differences from the sample cookies pictured on the website. For the Cookie Club, the cookies you receive will be the same cookie flavor and theme that are posted on the website. Any significant deviations from the posted pictures will be clearly communicated, with ample opportunity to change your order, if desired.
