What age is best for cookie classes?
- Some classes are designed primarily for adult participants, while others are designed with a range of ages in mind. Generally, classes are a good fit for those age 10+
- For daytime classes in some locations, individuals under age 10 may be able to attend if an accompanying responsible grown-up (age 16+) has also purchased a ticket for the class and is supervising their decorating process. Please check the details for each specific cookie class for age restrictions. Some locations may not be appropriate for younger attendees.
Can just my child attend a cookie session?
- For classes that allow younger participants (check specific class restrictions) those age 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible 16+ cookie buddy, unless specified otherwise in the class description.
What will I take home with me?
- By the end of the cookie session, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry in their own box. You will also take home any extra sprinkles and icing you have, as well as a cookie scribe that you can keep! And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!
- If you like, you can add on a Beginner's Cookier Toolkit, which includes a fancy cookie scribe, an icing spatula, extra piping bags, and a mini edible marker.

Cancelations, Illnesses, and Refunds
Do you ever cancel classes?
What if the weather prevents the class from being offered?
- Classes may be canceled at the discretion of Just Add Cookies. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that we choose to cancel a class, you’ll receive a 100% refund.
- Classes with attendance below a certain number of attendees may also be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with our apologies) or a full refund! We’ll let you know if your class has low attendance at least five days before the event date so that you can make other plans for that day (or talk some friends into signing up).
What if the weather prevents the class from being offered?
- Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules. In the event of inclement weather, we’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event, but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
